FLOTADA CON PAMPEANOS, FLOATING WITN "PAMPEANOS"

Por segunda vez estuve guiando a Jorge Audisio y sus amigos, todos amigos de La Pampa y están haciendo sus primeras experiencias de pesca con mosca. Resalto el avance en la técnica que han logrado y la buena onda que siempre tienen.
Fuimos a flotar el Collon Cura desde La Rinconada a Balsa Vieja y como eran 5 pescadores me acompañaron trabajando conmigo Adrian con su cataraft, Federico con su balsa; y yo como siempre en el Gregorio, my Mc Kenzie drift boat.


Con lineas de fondo da diferentes características salimos a pescar.
A lo largo de la mañana se fueron dando las capturas en algunos casos y en otros la enseñanza de la técnica de lanzado

En cada bote pescaron varios peces durante toda la jornada. Sobresaliendo algunas buenas arco iris de Pablo y una muy linda marrón en el bote de Adrian. El día por fín se presentó soleado, con poco viento asi que lo pudimos disfrutar todos. Bajamos a pescar vadeando en varios sitios a lo largo del recorrido y en las pequeñas corredera pudimos obtener peces.

Lamentablemente Jorge no pudo venir por un problema personal y mando un muñeco en su lugar! Gracias Jorge, te extrañamos!




I was guiding Jorge Audisio and his close friends. They are from "La Pampa" and it is their second fishing trip in two years, but now they are casting better. We were floating the Collón Cura river from La Rinconada to Balsa Vieja. As they were 5 fishermen, another two guides, Adrian in his cataraft and Federico in his inflatable boat, came with me (I had floated with Gregorio, my mc kenzie drift boat) to guide them.
The water run very quickly so they used teeny, sinking and with streamers flies catched a lot of fish all the day. Federico teached Fernando to cast for his first time and he colud catched some trout too. The best were rainbow trout which catched Pablo and a very nice brown catches from Adrian´s boat. Sunshine day without wind so we enjoy it.
We were fishing wading at a lot of place along the river and the fishermen could catched a lot of trout.

FLOTANDO EL COLLON CURA FLOAT IN THE COLLON CURA RIVER

Ayer Sábado 19 de Noviembre fui con dos amigos, Tomás y Gabriel a flotar el río collon curá desde la Rinconada hasta Balsa Vieja.

Estrené los nuevos asientos giratorios en el mc kenzie drift boat y realmente son muy cómodos.
Luego de tantas lluvias y mal tiempo el río corre muy rápido y desbordado. Gabriel empezó con línea de flote y una mosca atractora tipo stimulator. A los pocos metros tuvo un primer pique debajo de un sauce pero no pudo clavar. Tomás pescó con línea de fondo y stremers.
Entramos al agua a las 11:00 hs y en un pequño brazo encontramos unas muy lindas arco iris comiendo en superficie pequeños emergentes, pero siguieron varias veces las moscas pero los muchachos no las pudieron clavar.
Seguimos flotando sin novedad en cuanto a los piques y asombrados de la cantidad de agua y la velocidad de la corriente.
Al detenernos a almorzar Gabriel pudo clavar una arco iris que encontramos comiendo en un pequeño brazo del río y luego yo en una pequeña corredera obtuve una arco iris con streamers y algún que otro pique errado. Por la tarde comenzó un viento bastante fuerte pero la pesca se animó y los muchachos fueron obteniendo varias arco iris y marrones.

La mejor pesca la desarrollamos en pequeñas correntadas con streamers.
Por ahora es necesario contar con lineas de hundimiento rápido, a lo largo de todo el recorrido encontramos pocas truchas comiendo en superficie, debido seguramente a la fuerte correntada.


Yesterday November 19 I went with two friends, Tomás and Gabriel to float in the collon cura river. We began at La Rinconada and we finished the trip at Balsa Vieja.
Use new swivel seats in the Mc Kenzie drift boat and really are very comfortable. After weeks with rain and snow, the river is overflowing and run very fast. We entered the water at 11:00 pm. In a small arm of the river we find some very nice rainbow trout surface feeding but the guys could´t catch them. Gabriel began with floating line and a fly attractor (stimulator). A few yards downstream Gabriel lost a rainbow beneath a willow tree. Thomas fished with sinking line and stremers. When we stop for lunch Gabriel could catch a rainbow we found eating at a small branch of the river. I capture a rainbow using streamers, standing at the beginning of a small stream. In the afternoon began a fairly strong wind but fishing improved and the guys were getting several rainbows and browns.ç
Best fishing was in small currents.Throughout the floating along the river we found a few trout feeding in surface, probably due to the strong current.
For now it is necessary to use fast sinking lines.

POR EL MALLEO MALLEO RIVER

Mauro, un colega y amigo me invitó a trabajar con él guiando 5 pescadores de Santiago de Chile. Julio, Esteban, Gregorio, Mario y Rubén hacían su segunda experiencia de pesca. La anterior y primera había sido hace dos años con Mauro, ahora volvían por otros dos días de pesca.
El Jueves 5 de Noviembre fuimos al Malleo; sigue un poco sucio, alto y rápido, asi que elegimos la zona final antes de la desembocadura en donde hay varios brazos. Mientras que en San Marín de los Andes llovía y nevaba todo el día en el Malleo tuvimos un día soleado pero con muchísimo viento.

Con linea de fond0 (no eran muy buenas asi que bajaban poco realmente) y streamers nos repartimos por el rio. Ruben en su primer tiro logró una marroncita, que tomó la mosca a pocos cm. de la superficie, vimos el borbollón. Luego a lo largo del día nos fuimos moviendo con los muchachos, enseñándoles a castear y a leer el río.

A fin de la mañana Ruben logró otra marrón, más grande que la anterior, esta vez le tomó el streamers en un brazo de 1m. de profundidad.

El resto de los muchachos logró algún pez chiquito pero más que nada siguieron intentando aprender a castear, cosa que con el viento era muy difícil.
Luego de comer en el camping de Rigoberto Canuyan (es el guardafauna también) seguimos pescando en un vendaval de viento.

Mario logró en un brazo muy cortito tener 3 piques consecutivos de linda arco iris (las vimos saltar). La última la logró agarrar. Gregorio quiso probar con lineas de flote y con una ninfa capturó pequeñas arco iris en correderitas del fondo del río.
Al otro día fuimos al Lago Lácar en el Camping Nonthue. Con muchísimo frío, un poco de viento y por momentos debajo de nevaditas estuvimos pescando en los botes hasta las 16 hs. Julio logró capturar una linda arco iris y fue el único pez de la jornada.





Mauro, friend and colleague, invited me to guide 5 chilean anglers. Julio, Esteban, Gregorio, Mario y Ruben was fishing for theirs second time in your life. The first time was 2 years ago and Mauro guided them too.

November 5 th we went to Malleo river; it was dirty, very fast and deep, Near the point Malleo meet with Alumine river there are a lot of narrow arms, so we chose this place to fish.

San Martin de los Andes were rain and snow meantime at Malleo river was cloudy but very, very windy. The fishermen used sinking lines (those line didn´t go down really) and streamers.

Ruben catched a brown trout in his firts cast. The fish toke the streamers just under the surface.
All the morning the anglers were learning to cast and about the way of "read the water" of the river. After lunch was a wind storm but Mario could catch a nice rainbow in a little arm of the river ang Gregorio catched some little rainbow with floating line and nymphs.





The second day we went to Lacar lake. The day was very cold, wind and from time to time snow.
We were fishing to 4 PM and only Julio catches a nice rainbow.

FLOTAMOS EL LAGO LACAR FLOATING LACAR LAKE

Ayer 2 de Noviembre, abrimos la temporada con pescadores de La Pampa: Iara, Diego, Mario y Gustavo.
Cuando por la mañana salí de mi casa caía un granizo muy chiquito y había viento del oeste, asi que decidí cambiar el rumbo original que era pescar en el lago Filo Hua Hum. Alli las flotadas se realizan entrando a mitad del lago navegando hacia el oeste, con lo cual con el viento se haría dificil la pesca, finalmente decidí pescar en la zona final del lago Lácar.
En esta oportunidad me acompañó guiando Federico en su balsa y yo fui con el Mc Kenzie como siempre. Bajamos las embarcaciones en el camping agreste Nonthue. Gustavo y Mario fueron con Federico; Iara y Diego conmigo. Con algo de viento, frío y un poco de lluvia se fue desarrollando la mañana de pesca.

Federico se dirigió hacia la costa oeste del lago Lacar pescando sobre los bajos que hay alli.
Lograron obtener 3 truchas arco iris y un par de piques errados.

Mientras tanto nosotros nos fuimos para el lado de la Isla, Iara logró capturar un par de arco iris. Todos pescaron con lineas de hundimiento y streamers.
Por la tarde luego del almuerzo salió un poco el sol y la pesca mejoró un poco.
Iara obtuvo 4 truchas más y Diego obrtuvo la suya y algún pique errado.


Mientras tanto en el otro bote Gustavo obtuvo varias Arco iris y Mario también.

Espectáculo aparte eran las golondrinas comiendo unas mayflies cafe grandes que había volando por allí. Desde el momento en que veíamos las mayfly duraban unos pocos segundos vivas.

A pesar del mal tiempo y el agua muy fría pudimos pescar algunos peces, por lo que el resultado nos dejó conformes en la medida de las condiciones que se presentaban.
Diego me dejó unos chorizos de jabalí de los cuales daremos cuenta rápidamente y bajo pelo para hacer ninfas. Graciassss! Y nos vemos pronto!


Yesterday, November 2th, we started the fly fishing season al Lacar lake with a group of anglers from la Pampa;Iara, Diego, Mario y Gustavo.
The weather is very bad yet, rain, wind from the west, cold, so I decided change the place to fish. Because at the filo hua hum lake we have to sail from the middle of the lake to the west.
Because they were 4 anglers, other guide Federico worked with me, he have an inflatable boat and I have my Mc Kenzie drift boat.
We went down the boats at Nonthue camping, Federico rowed to the west and fishing over the west shore of the Lacar lake and Mario and Gustavo catched 3 rainbow trouts. I went to the east near the little island where Iara catched twice rainbow trout.
All the morning was cold, windy and from time to time rain too.
The anglers used shoting lines and streamers. We met at a shore to took the lunch and take a rest.

At afternoon from time to time the sun shined and Iara catched 4 trout more and Diego catched on too. Meanwuhile at the other boat, Gustavo catched 5 rainbow and Mario catched 3 more.
A lot of swallows were catched big and brown mayflies over the lake surface.

The weather was bad, the water was very cold but we could catch some trout, so we were happy. Iara, Diego, Mario and Gustavo thanks for your visit and I will see soon!

NUEVA TEMORADA NEW SEASON!!

Hoy empieza una nueva temporada de pesca deportiva en la Patagonia Argentina.


Desde hace 10 días hay tiempo muy malo, mucha lluvia e incluso nieve.
Los ríos, que estaban bajos, llegaron a los niveles para esta época, incluso los ríos que visité ayer, Malleo, Chimehuin y Aluminé se encuentran en muchos tramos desbordados.
Ayer llovió todo el día pero por la tarde, fui con mi hijo Blas a ver los ríos. Estan muy rápidos y sucios. El Malleo ayer estaba sucio pero no turbio.
El Aluminé estaba completamente marrón, se ve en la foto superior una linea que marca el encuentro de las aguas del malleo con las del Aluminé.


En las dos fotos superiores se ven los camping del malleo inundados.

En el día de mañana flotaré uno de los lagos de la zona asi que despues subiré seguramente un informe.



Today start the fly fishing season at Patagonia Argentina.
For ten days the weather is very bad with rain and snow. The rivers were low but after a few days they have reached normal levels of November.
Yesterday, was raining but I went with my son Blas to see three rivers: Chimehuin, Malleo and Alumine.
Chimehuin and Malleo were dirty but not cloudy and and the water ran very fast downstream.
Aluminé river was completely cloudy (you could see at the picture a pen line between malleo water (dirty) and Alumine water (cloudy).
At the others pictures you see two camping over the malleo bank under the water.
Tomorrow I am floating a lake so you will read an info here, bye.
