3x fly fishing. Patagonia Argentina: TEAM FISHPUM. FANÁTICOS DE LA PESCA

Desde el lunes 30 al sábado 5 de Diciembre estuve guiando junto con Federico al grupo conformado por: Osvaldo Berardi, Sergio Carballo, Jorge Sanguesa y Jeff Stark, los tres primeros de zona norte del Gran Buenos Aires y el último de USA. Llegaron recomendados a mi por Guillermo Formoso, otro amigo de la casa.
Los busqué por el Aeropuerto de Bariloche bajo un viento impresionante y nos fuimos para el lago Filo Hua Hum por Paso Córdoba en donde nos alojaríamos la primera noche. El plan inicial era vadear las bocas del Quieto y el Filo Hua Hum oeste el primer día y flotar el lago el segundo día.

Luego de acomodarnos y almorzar ligero nos fuimos a pescar. El frío, el intenso viento y algo de lluvia complicaron mucho las cosas y luego de algunas horas nos volvimos al camping con las manos vacías.

Asamos unas entrañas, fernet (algunos de los muchachos son cordobeces je je!) un poco de sobremesa y a la cama para al otro día pescar desde temprano.

El Martes el viento siguió igual de fuerte con lo cual decidimos ir a flotar a la cabecera del lago Meliquina la cual da un poco más de protección. En el Mc kenzie venían Jorge y Osvaldo mientras Sergio y Jeff en la balsa con Federico. Fue correcta la desición de flotar el Meliquina ya que llovió casi todo el tiempo pero el viento no nos afectó y pudimos obtener varias arco iris y marrones siempre usando lineas de hundimiento y streamers. En la bahía más alejada hacia el norte vadeando sacaron varias AI y marrones muy lindas. Comentario aparte el hermoso arco iris que se formó durante un rato.

A la noche nos fuimos para San martín de los Andes y dejamos a los muchachos en su lugar de alojamiento.
El miércoles flotamos el Collón Curá desde la Rinconada a Balsa Vieja con un día soleado con bastante viento por momentos por la tarde.

A los pocos metros de partir Jorge clavó una muy linda marrón y para el mediodía ya habían capturado varias AI y marrones y una muy buena de Osvaldo.

Y seguimos durante toda la jornada capturando peces siempre con lineas de fondo y streamers. Pudimos bajar a vadear en algunas correderas bajas también.

Federico pescó con su balsa recorriendo los canales que todavía se encuentran formados por la gran creciente del río.
El jueves flotamos el Aluminé desde la bajada del Catan Lil a la Rinconada.
Con un día soleado y caluroso, esperábamos poder pescar con moscas seca en los últimos kilómetros de la flotada.

En uno de los brazos en cercanías de San Ignacio, Jorge clavó una hermosa marrón.

Luego nos detuvimos a pescar una corredera larga y allí tanto Osvaldo como él con wb verde oliva con patas de goma negra sacaron AI, Marrones y alguna perca, una tras otra.

Y en un momento Jorge clavó una marrón plateada que midió alrededor de 67 cm! IMPRESIONANTE! Estaba un poco flaca pero muy larga.

Seguimos capturando peces durante toda la jornada, en el otor bote Los muchachos también venían capturando lindos peces. Sergio clavó algunas muy lindas truchas con moscas secas al igual que Jorge. Jeff, que quería "sacar muchas" siguió con linea de fondo y streamers ( y fue sacando muchas je je!).
El último día lo reservamos para intentar pescar con línea de flote, atractoras y moscas secas por el lago Lácar en su unión con el nonthue. El día se presentó soleado con mucho calor pero 0 viento. Con lo cual el lago era un charco y las truchas nos veían desde mu lejos, no logramos piques por la mañana. Luego del almuerzo (arroz con verduras y mariscos al estilo chino en el wok!) empezó el viento y así se movió el agua y pudimos ir pescando por el lado de Pucará. Con lineas de flote y moviendo atractoras obtuvieron varias arco iris en los dos botes.

En resumen, empezamos la semana con frío , mucho viento y nada de pesca en el Filo. El segundo día con mucha lluvia pero buena pesca en el Meliquina y las flotada en el Aluminé y en el Collón Curá con muy buen tiempo y muy buena pesca con muchas muy buenas marrones. El último día de flotada en el lácar con mucho calor y capturas de combativas arco iris.

Los muchachos hicieron sus primeras flotadas de río y se adaptaron muy bien inclusive pescando con secas aún en las rápidas aguas del collon curá.
Realmente disfrutaron mucho (Fede y yo también!), se relajaron, y me parece que entienden a la perfección lo que es hacer un viaje de pesca: nos divertimos bastante.

Se comieron toda la comida que les preparé asi que siempre pudieron tomar el postre.
Nos divertimos con los chistes de Jeff.

From 30 November to 5 December I was with another guide Federico guiding Osvaldo Team: Sergio Carballo, Jorge Sanguesa, Osvaldo Berardi y Jeff Stark. The first three form Gran Buenos Aires north and the last from USA. They came recommended by my friend Guillermo Formoso, another fisherman of Buenos Aires. I picked them up by the Bariloche airport. The day was cold and very very windy. I drove to Filo Hua Hum lake through Paso Cordoba.We would be lodged al the "dormis". After ligth lunch we went fishing to Filo hua hum west river and its arm El Quieto. It was cold with strong wind and rain. Fishing was to difficult and after some hours we returned to camp empty-handed. Roast some "entrañas", we drank fernet (some guys are cordobeces ja ja!) and red wine and went to bed to catch the next day early.
On Tuesday the wind continued very strong and thus decided to go to float to the west of Meliquina Lake header which gives a bit more protection.

In the Mc kenzie drift boat were Jorge and Osvaldo while Sergio and Jeff were on the raft with Federico.

It was a good idea to float the Meliquina lake; rained almost all the time but the wind did not hurt us. We could obtain several rainbows and browns, always using sinking lines and streamers. In the north bay, they were wading and took several rainbow and brown very cute.
Comment apart the beautiful rainbow that formed for a while.
At night we went to San Martin de los Andes and let the boys in a cabin.
On Wednesday we float the Collon Cura river from Rinconada to Balsa Vieja.

With a sunny day and quite windy in the afternoon. A few meters to go, Jorge caught a very nice brown.

By noon they had captured several rainbow and brown (a very good by Osvaldo). Throughout the day, caught many fish. Using sinking lines and streamers. . We were able to wade into some low runnig too. Federico on his raft, went through the arms of the river, which are still formed by the large increase.
On Thursday we floated the alumine river from La bajada del Catan Lil a la Rinconada.

With a warm sunny day, we hoped to fish with dry flies in the last kilometers of the floating trip.
In one arm of the river, stay near San Ignacio farm, Jorge caught a beautiful brown.

Then we stopped to fish on a long runnig. Osvaldo and Jorge (with olive wb rubber black feet) caught many rainbow, Browns and perchs. Jorge nailed a silvery brown that measured about 67 cm! AWESOME!

I was a little thin but very long. We catch fish all day. In the other boat the guys caught nice fish also. Sergio caught some very nice trout with dry flies like Jorge. Jeff (he wanted to "get a lot of") used sinking line and streamers (and took out a lot ha ha!).
The last day is reserved for fishing with floating line and dry fly attractors in the Lácar lake at its junction with Nonthué lake. With a warm sunny day but 0 wind. Whereupon the lake was a large pool and trout saw us from afar. We did not catch in the morning. After lunch (rice with vegetables and Chinese-style seafood in a wok!) started the wind, it moved the water and fish on the side of Pucara. With floating lines and moving attractors, obtained several rainbows in the two boats (Jeff with sinking line, of course ja ja!).

In short, we started the week with cold, windy and no fishing on Filo Hua Hum lake. The second day with high rainfall but good fishing in the Meliquina lake. Floating trip at Alumine and Collon Cura river in very good weather and good fishing with many very good brown. The last day we were floating on the Lácar lake, very hot and we caught many combative rainbow.

The boys made their first floated at the river and they have adapted very well. Even with dry flies in the fast waters of the Collon Cura.
They really enjoy every moment of the day fishing (Federico and me too!). They were relaxed, and I think they understand perfectly what it is to make a fishing trip: good fun.
They ate all the food I prepared them, so could always make dessert.
