Desde el sábado 19 al Martes 22 estuve guiándo a
Santiago y
Daniel. Ya estuvieron por aquí la última temporada: Santiago vino junto con Daniel y Figue (que pasó loco? te extrañamos!!) en Diciembre y en Abril vinieron
Daniel y
Figue. Los muchachos pertenecen a la
Asociación Rosarina de pesca con mosca, son buenos pescadores, andan también pescando dorados y otros peces por el río Paraná y algún otro río de la Mesopotamia.
Los muchachos se alojaron en
Apart del Faldeo, un excelente Apart hotel en San Martín de los Andes, SUPER RECOMENDABLE!
El primer día salimos a flotar el
Collón Curá desde
la Rinconada hasta Balsa Vieja. Con líneas de hundimiento en ambas cañas y a los pocos metros de salir Santiago sacó una hermosa marrón y
Daniel una perca inmensa.
El día se desarrolló soleado y con poco viento y estuvo divertido ya que capturaron peces casi en forma contínua.
Al principio
Daniel capturó muchas perca, con lo cual cambiamos a una línea hundimiento 2 (empezó con una hundimiento 6) y el pique de truchas mejoró.
Santiago estuvo usando una WB negra con patas de goma amarilla que realmente anduvo bárbaro.
Salieron varias marrones lindas sobre todo dos que sacó Santiago, una al principio de la flotada y otra en el último brazo del
Chimehuin en donde bajamos a vadear un rato.
La nota del día fue la fontinalis que sacó
Daniel, muy flaca, seguramente ya sintiendo la diferencia de temperatura en el agua.
El segundo día flotaron con
Adrian el
lago Filo hua Hum. Yo tuve que reparar el trailer que se había roto el día anterior. Con un día tremendamente ventoso tuvieron que salir del lago alrededor de las 17:00 hs. Tuvieron varios piques y sacaron varios peces sobresaliendo una marron muy buena que sacó Santiago.
El lunes 21
Santiago se sintió mal con lo cual sólo salí con
Daniel a flotar nuevamente el
Collón Curá.
Aprovechamos y fuimos variando estilos de pesca. Asi que durante el día pescamos con línea de hundimiento y streamers, linea de flote con emergentes de CDC, linea de flote con ninfas e indicador de pique, linea de flote con atractoras.
Nos divertimos mucho en un lugar que hay una pequeña isla de piedra y se forma una corredera la cual estaba con bastante presencia de peces.
Alli con linea de flote y emergentes y secas de CDC tuvimos muchos piques.
La arco iris de la foto de abajo como ven es un pez pequeño pero fue de los más difíciles y luchadores que hubo en el viaje. Pensámos en un principio que era una gran arco iris, pero cuando
Daniel la pudo finalmente acercar al bote vimos que se trataba de una arco iris más chica que otras que habíamos sacado ese día, pero mucho más luchadora. Quizás tenga que ver el tamaño de su aleta caudal que como se ve en la foto era bastante grande.
El último día el plan inicial era flotar el
Aluminé desde
Catan lil a
La Rinconada pero nos encontramos con un corte de ruta en las cercanías de Junín de los Andes, así que debímos cambiar el recorrido para el
lago Lácar en su unión con el
Lago Nonthue.
Había viento pero en esa zona del lago se puede pescar protegidos por dos grandes bahías. Cuando llegamos a la zona de pesca en los dos primeros tiros que hicieron tanto
Daniel como
Santiago tuvieron sendos piques en unos segundos. La cuenta final fueron alrededor de 35 truchas todas arco iris de gran porte, fuertes y muy luchadoras.
Todas las obtuvimos con atractoras grandes y lineas de flote. En su mayoría capturadas con stimulator con patas de goma, algún hopper en goma eva, chernobyl y cosas similares. En 5 o 6 oportunidades tuvimos piques simultáneos, realmente fue un día excepcional de pesca, con la excitación de los explosivos piques en superficie o suaves casi imperceptibles.

From Saturday 19 to Tuesday 22 I was guiding Daniel and Santiago. They were fishing here with me last season. At December Santiago came with Daniel and another friend Figue (What happen? We miss you!). Then at April came Daniel and Figue again. They are from Asociación Rosarina de pesca con mosca, good anglers. They used to fish dorado and another sort of fish at Parana river and other rivers from Mesopotamia.

First day: We floated collon cura river from La Rinconada to Balsa Vieja. They used full sinking shoting lines and streamers. After few metres down the river Santiago caught a very nice brown and Daniel a very big perca.
A sunshine day, few wind and fishing was very fun because they were catching fish all the day. First Daniel caught a lot of percas so we changed the line for another less heavy and he colud catch more trout. Santiago used a WB black with yellow rubber legg and it was fantastic!! They caught several brown trout (Santiago´s first fish and another which Santiago caught into the last arm of chimehuin river).
Daniel caught a too thin fontinalis. This fish live into more cold water.Second day: They floated filo hua hum lake with Adrian because I had to repair mc kenzie´s tralier. The day was very very windy so they could fish until 5 PM. They caught some trout and Santiago caught a big brown.Monday 21 Santiago felt ill, so I went to float Collon cura river again only with Daniel.
He used: sinking line and streamers, floating line with CDC emergent and dry flies, floating line with nymphs and stike indicator, floating line with big atractor. We havd a funny time at a place where are a little rocky island and into a run there were a lot of trout. Daniel used floating lines and CDC emergent, CDC dry flies and caugth several trout.The rainbow at down picture is not a big fish but it gave Daniel one of the best fight of the trip, May be it was possible by its last fin which is very big.Last day we would go to float Alumine river but when we arrived to Junin de los Andes the rout was closed. So we changed to lacar lake where it join with Nonthue lake. The day was very windy but at this place there are two big bays that keep you without wind. They caught several trout (may be 35) all of them figther, fats and big. They used floating lines and differents big atractor flies: rubber legs stimulator, rubber hopper, chernobyl, etc.
5 or 6 time they had strike simultaneously. It was the best fishing day of the week with explosion strikes over the lake surface and soft strikes too.
Daniel and Santiago, it was a big pleasure for me to share this days with you .Now I am plannig your next fishing trip at March or April, I will see soon, bye and thasnk you!
November 15, monday. I floated with Bruce Jones and Pierre Galin, Collon Curá river from Puente de la Rinconada to Balsa Vieja. Both fishermen live in Seattle, fishing at USA and different places of the world like our Patagonia and New Zealand. They use to use floating lines with dry flies and nymphs. It was an interesting challenge fishing in that way, since the river was running fast and has high water yet. In these cases the theory indicates fishing with sinking lines.
On January 1, I floated with Matias Rey. Lawyer in Buenos Aires, recent father again and golfer. Usually every two years fishing with me. He lives in the Republic of Boedo!
