They were fishing with floating lines, soft haclkles, nymphs and little streamers and caught some fish (Daniel caught a nice brown at dusk).
Second fly fishing day: We went to Filo hua hum lake to floating and fishing into the lake. The day was very warm and no windy so the water was very quiet and the fish saw us. Until the wind start we coudn´t catch nothing. Then the anglers started to catch nice trout with floating lines and big atractor (stimulators, madam x, dragonflies, etc). The fish were very aggressives and they bite the flies many times. It was a funny time!. They caught some fish and Daniel caught the big brown again!
Third fly fishing day: We went to filo hua hum river to fish into its narrow arm we call "El quieto" ("The still"). We were fishing at the west beach of the lake where we saw a lot of nice rainbow swiming very close the shore. They had some bits and Figue caught a nice rainbow with a nymphs.
Then we went to fish into El quieto. There are very big brown into this narrow arm of the filo hua hum river but they are very difficult to fish because they can see us very easy. Santiago caught a very nive raimbow with an adams parachute 16. He had cast very well to leave the dry slowly on the surface of the river, he saw the fish came to eat the fly and then he caught it!

Afternoon we move to Meliquina river to fish some big brown with sinking lines and streamers. We start at a nice run but only Daniel had a bit, so we went to another spot up ther river. Figue caught a very nice brown al the head of the run and later Santiago caught a very big brown (perhaps more 2 kilos) and after 10 minutes of fight the trout was close us but it unhooked from the fly.
We had another big bit but its time the trout cutted the tippet!
Fourth fishing day: we went to floating hermoso lake to fish fontinalis.
We sailt to the middle of the lake where are a group of island and a lot of grass over the shore. The anglers were fishing with floating lines and dragonflies again, and they caught more 30 fish, a lot of fontinalis and rainbow. The trout were aggressives, we saw the trout jump and eat a lot of dragonflies and damselflies over the surface of the lakes, was fantastic time!!
The last fishing day we went to floating the nonthue lake, we sailt to chachin river and they were fishing at the "mouth" of the river and then we were sailing by the lake and they caught a lot of fish too. At dusk Santiago caught a big brown with a goddar caddis 16, but its unhookm what a pitty!
During 5 fishing days Dany, Figue y Santiago wading rivers and floating lakes, they were fishing with floating and sinking lines witn big atractors flies and little emergent, was very funny, thanks guys!
Entre el 1 y el 5 de Diciembre estuve guiando a 3 pescadores de Rosario: Figue, Daniel y Santiago.
Los fui a buscar al aeropuerto de Chapelco y de alli nos fuimos a hacer unos tiritos al Malleo. Pescaron con lineas de flote y ninfas, ministreamers y soft hackles. No encontramos peces grandes, las capturas más grandes fueron una marrón y una arco iris de alrededor 500-800 gr.
Clavaron algunos peces chicos y luego al anochecer Daniel pudo clavar un par der arco iris y marrones de mejor porte.Al otro dia temprano nos fuimos a flotar el lago Filo Hua Hum.
Con un día de mucho calor hasta que no comenzó a moverse el agua por el viento no logramos capturas. Luego clavamos arco iris y marrones, pescando en superficie con alguaciles. Los ataques fueron dándose sobre las costas con juncos, con gran actividad de los peces e inclusive con repeticiones de ataques del mismo pez a la misma mosca, estaban muy voraces. Daniel sacó una marrón muy buena sobre la costa sur del lago entre unos árboles y en la sombra.
Al otro dia volvimos al Filo Huya Hum pero para pescar las arco iris y las grandes marrones del Quieto, el brazo del rio Filo Hua Hum. Comenzamos pescando la playa de la cabezera oeste del lago con capturas usando lineas de flote, ninfas y stimulators. Figue obtuvo una muy linda arco iris con ninfa ewn la playa oeste del lago.
Luego fuimos al Quieto donde Santiago con una adams parachute 16 pudo sacar una muy linda arco iris en un muy lindo pique, con un tiro difícil por lo angosto del río. Al atardecer nos fuimos al río Meliquina para tratar de tentar a las grandes marrones de los pozones, Y en la cabezera de una corredera Figue obtuvo la primera marrón, con un tiro corto a la curva interna de la corredera usando lineas de fondo y streamers.
Luego en el medio de otra corredera Santiago obtuvo otra un poco más grande que las de Figue que luego de un rato largo de lucha se soltó del anzuelo.
Al otro dia nos fuimos a flotar en el lago Hermoso, luego de navegar hasta el sector medio en donde se encuentran un grupo de islas rodeadas de juncos tuvimos una pesca espectacular, no contamos las truchas capturadas pero deben de haber sido más de 30 y otras tantas que se escaparon en piques errados y en los saltos. A diferencia de días anteriores ahora la gran mayoría fueron fontinalis con alguna arco iris de muy buenos portes, Nuevamente la mosca fue el alguacil. las truchas saltaban por todas partes y pescamos a pez visto en gran parte del día.
Para el último día pescamos el lago Nonthue desde Hua Hum navegamos hacia la desembocadura del río Cha Chin. no tuvimos la cantidad de capturas del día anterior pero se repitieron las arco iris y al fin de la tarde Santiago entre unos juncos y con una mosca godar cadis 16 obtuvo una muy linda marrón que se salió al lado del bote.
Durante los días de pesca pudimos realizar diferentes tipos de pesca: vadeamos el malleo y lo pescamos a flote con ninfas y soft hackes, flotamos lagos usando grandes atractoras y alguna que otra pequeña seca, pescamos a pez visto en el lago desde el bote y desde la playa y en el brazo Quieto del filo hua hu, y usando streamers y lineas de fondo en el rio Meliquina, fue una pesca muy variada y divertida!
